Amanda J. Brookhyser is Partner-In-Charge of the firm's Las Vegas Office (Zumpano Patricios Popok & Helsten). Ms. Brookhyser is part of the Firm’s national trial practice and focuses her trial and litigation practice in the areas of high-stakes commercial litigation, business tort and contract disputes healthcare litigation, real estate litigation, and employment litigation and counseling. Ms. Brookhyser has 15 years of experience as an accomplished trial attorney, litigator and advisor.
Ms. Brookhyser has obtained jury verdicts and judgments on behalf of defendants and plaintiffs alike, trying over a dozen cases to verdict, judgment or award. She has represented various types of clients from large corporations and health care providers, to high-net worth individuals. Ms. Brookhyser’s trial and appellate practice have taken her to courts and arbitration hearing rooms throughout the country, including New York, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Houston, Reno and Las Vegas. She regularly practices in both the state and federal courts of Nevada as well as before the Nevada Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Brookhyser was a partner in a well-known national defense firm where her practice included professional liability and malpractice defense.

Ms. Brookhyser serves on the Nevada Justice Association's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. She is also a Member of the Drake University School of Law Recent Engagement Board. Ms. Brookhyser enjoys taking pro bono cases through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Children’s Attorney Project and participates in the Family Law Ask-a-Lawyer Program. She was named to the 50 Hour Club by The Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. She also mentors new attorneys through the Nevada State Bar’s Transitioning Into Practice program and is involved in the Firm’s efforts to provide skills training to our Summer Law Clerks. Ms. Brookhyser also recently served on the Board of Directors for the Las Vegas Business Academy.
