Laura Yaport is an Associate at Zumpano Patricios. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL. B.) from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCCM) in the Dominican Republic in 2017, where she is licensed to practice law. Ms. Yaport then pursued advanced legal studies at Florida International University (FIU), where she obtained an LL.M. in 2020 and a Juris Doctor in 2024. Ms. Yaport was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2024.

During her time at FIU, Ms. Yaport represented the university as an oralist in the XV Moot Madrid International Arbitration Moot Court Competition in 2023. Before joining Zumpano Patricios, Ms. Yaport represented clients in corporate matters and in labor and employment disputes in the Dominican Republic.
