Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Gian Zumpano Aquatic Center at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School

On Tuesday, May 10, 2016, Belen Jesuit Preparatory School held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Gian Zumpano Aquatic Center at the sight of the future center, with over one-hundred alumni and friends in attendance.  Miami Auxiliary Bishop Peter Baldacchino blessed the grounds; and Zumpano Patricios & Winker, P.A. President and Managing Shareholder, Joseph I. Zumpano, delivered remarks regarding his brother Gian Zumpano and the efforts to make the center a reality.  The school’s president, Father Guillermo Garcia-Tunon, said, “It is the leadership, vision, and financial support of the Zumpano family which has steered this incredibly important project through a series of challenges and delays over the years that has led us to this moment.”  The estimated date of completion for the new center is the summer of 2017.
