The Miami Herald Featured Joseph I. Zumpano and the Case Caballero v. FARC, et al

On February 23, 2017, the Miami Herald featured a cover story regarding Mr. Zumpano and the historic case Caballero v. FARC, et al. In a hard fought victory, Mr. Zumpano and his legal team recovered almost $1 million for Mr. Antonio Caballero whose father, former U.N. Ambassador Carlos Caballero Cormane, was murdered at the hands of Colombia’s most notorious guerrilla groups and the North Valley Cartel. The Miami Herald reported that “[t]he case is likely to draw the attention of other guerrilla victims in the United States, who have also won multi-million-dollar judgments but haven’t been able to collect, because the assets are either frozen or concealed.”
