ZP Miami Attorney Matthew Espino’s Article Published in the ABA Health eSource

Miami Office Associate Attorney Matthew Espino recently authored an article titled The Case for a Qualified Dignity of Risk Liability Shield for Long-Term Care and Nursing Facilities published in the April 2023 issue of the ABA Health eSource publication. In the article, Mr. Espino explores a legal framework for liability protection of long-term care and nursing facilities, including long-term acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities, regarding efforts to allow patients to live with autonomy and dignity.
