The Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald and CNN covered a lawsuit filed by ZP&W against the FARC and ELN narco-terrorist organizations regarding the murder of former United Nations Ambassador and Senator Carlos Caballero. The lawsuit brings claims for damages against the defendants under the Alien Tort Statute for murder, false imprisonment, hostage taking, trafficking in persons, and torture, as well as crimes against humanity. In addition, it brings claims for damages under the Federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, commonly known as RICO, as well as Florida RICO, and wrongful death under Colombian law. The lawsuit was also covered by the AP, Palm Beach Post, Fox News, Yahoo Noticias, NBC, La Nacion, El Nacional, El Confidencial, El Heraldo, and other television, online and print news outlets.
